3 Layer – SPRUCE

Quality class 0 (0 avg. EN 13017-1):

Joint-tight surface, straight-grained wood, healthy firmly grown, smaller knots, isolated small resin pockets, virtually free of compression wood and pith, uniform colour, occasionally natural knotted dowels and repaired resin pockets, overall balanced structure and furniture front quality.

Quality class B (B avg. EN 13017-1):

Joint-tight surface, strong and pronounced wood grain, larger knots and resin pockets likely, patching with natural knots and resin pockets possible, compression wood, slight discoloration can occur.

Quality class A (A according to EN 13017-1):

Joint-tight surface, plain to slightly coarse wood, healthy tightly grown knots. Natural knots, possibility of isolated black dotted knots, resin pockets, slight colour deviations  and slight cracking at the edges. Patching with natural knots and resin pockets possible. (in pine, larch and Douglas fir), overall homogeneous wood appearance.

Quality class B (B avg. EN 13017-1):
