TILLY relies on a sustainable and self-sufficient energy supply. Our state-of-the-art power plants guarantee environmentally friendly production and supply not only our company but also the region with clean energy. Through innovative technologies, the use of renewable raw materials and energy-efficient processes, we are actively making an important contribution to climate protection. 50 m² of TILLY natural wood panels store carbon from around 1 ton ofCO2.
HEAT AND ELECTRICITY FROM BIOMASS 2026/2027
NEW COMBINED HEAT AND POWER GENERATION
Our latest biomass CHP plant, which is being built in cooperation with Urbas Maschinenfabrik, will take energy efficiency to a new level. The plant uses only renewable raw materials and optimally combines the generation of electricity and heat. It will not only cover our own energy needs, but also supply the Althofen district heating system

- Energy source: Energy wood and wood chips from regional forestry companies
GREEN ROOF
PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM
Our large-scale roof mounted photovoltaic system, sends a clear signal of our commitement to renewable energies. This system produces clean electricity fed directly to our factories, where a large majority of this electricity is utilized.

PROVEN TECHNOLOGY FOR SUSTAINABLE HEAT
COMBINED HEAT AND POWER COUPLING
Our existing CHP plant reliably supplies our plant with renewable energy. We use only biomass and is an essential part of our sustainable production strategy.

CARINTHIAN WATER
HYDROPOWER FROM THE GURK
Our hydroelectric power plant provides environmentally friendly electricity directly for the operation of our company. The natural power of the Gurk river is used efficiently to ensure sustainable electricity production.
