The history of TILLY began in 1981 with the purchase of a sawmill in Althofen. What began as a manageable business continued to develop with a lot of commitment and a clear eye for quality and sustainability. The first natural wood panel factory was built as early as 1985 – the foundation stone for what we stand for today: high-quality natural wood panels.
Our company has grown over the years, but our aspiration has remained the same: to operate efficiently, to work in a resource-saving manner and to provide our customers with reliable support. We see wood not only as a raw material, but as a valuable resource that must be used responsibly. That is why we rely on sustainable forestry, short transport routes and modern production techniques that make the best possible use of material.
With over 300 employees, we are one of the most important employers in the region. Many of them have been with us for decades – this speaks for a corporate culture that focuses on reliability, trust and respectful interaction. In our cooperation with our customers, we also attach great importance to long-term partnerships and individual solutions instead of short-term trends.
Today, we deliver our natural wood panels to numerous European countries and beyond. Our success is not based on big promises, but on consistent quality, practical solutions and a philosophy that puts long-term thinking before short-term success.
