IT’S GETTING WARM…
From the first chip to the clean pellet, production at TILLY is carried out in a well thought-out, state-of-the-art process. We pay attention to purity as early as the raw material reception – metals and foreign substances are reliably removed. The chips go through precise drying, which ensures the ideal moisture content, before being formed into high-quality pellets in our presses. A vibrating screen separates dust and excess lengths so that a uniform, dimensionally stable product is created in the end.
Before filling, the pellets are again freed from dust and fines, loaded loosely or packed in 15 kg bags. The 15 kg bags are stacked on pallets, covered and wrapped in stretch film for transport. The finished pallets are either sent to the interim storage facility – with a capacity of up to 1,600 tonnes – or are loaded directly.
Our internal quality assurance ensures that only pellets of the highest quality leave the factory. The quality is determined and documented every hour – so that our customers can rely on TILLY pellets: clean, efficient and sustainably produced.

At our Althofen plant, the entire pellet production process is carried out, for you – efficient, cleanl, and with technical precision. After the raw material arrives and quality is controlled, it is dried. The dried material is then mixed with the chips produced during our own panel production. The pellets are then formed using state-of-the-art presses, cleaned of dust and fine particles in the screening machine, and temporarily stored in storage silos. From there, the pellets are either loaded in bulk or packed in 15 kg bags on pallets. With automated processes, high process reliability, and a well-coordinated team, we guarantee reliable implementation – on your behalf, with our technology.
